Yes it can lead to the most common Osteoarthritis. This is very common in athletes who have many injuries.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and I injured my shoulder and this made it so much worse on my shoulder. I ended up with cortisone injections. But, yes this is very common and it can be treated very easily. |

Absolutely. One of the main reasons someone could experience joint pain is that as we age or experience injury our body produces less Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is what lubricates the joints. I had some minor track injuries back in high school and I've started taking HA supplements and my joint pain is pretty much gone.
