i am babysitting a group of kids for a couple days.
well the 4 year old girl has type 1 diabetes. we give her insulin morning and night and check her sugar reguarly. i have a question tho if anyone knows so i made coca cola pork chops for dinner and the recipe cazlls for 1 cup of coke, [27 grams of sugar per cup] and its for 8 pork chops. even tho this 1 serving is devided up in to 8 porkchops, is it still to much sugar? plz help someone? |

27 grams of sugar from coke = 108 calories divided by 8 = 13.5 calories. That's pretty much negligible. What you have to consider is total calories from all carbs including the sugars. Then figure it in to your insulin dosage. I can't help you with that because I don't use the stuff and don't know how they figure it.
