Of course, every case is different and our daughter had no alternative but surgery. To help with the recovery, we got her therapeutic massage, particularly the St. Johns method. To deal with the chronic nerve issues, we took her to see a hypnotist to teach her bio feedback. She also used Bach Flowers to help with the emotional side of the experience. We have talked about accupuncture, but she really doesn't like needles!
