Eating small meals, staying up-right for at least an hour after eating, and staying away from spicy food.

If these don't wory, talk to your doctor about what medications you can take.

Tums and Gaviscon.

Stay away from greasy, spicy, and acidic foods and if you're a smoker it's best if you quit or cut down, eat small meals, and drink mineral water. Also don't eat 3-4 hours before you go to bed, and sleep with your head elevated (use 2 pillows) It worked for me.

Good luck.
