want to hardly eat dinner? I eat breakfast and lunch and dont starve myself, but wish I wasnt hungry for dinner so I can try to lose more weight. I weighed less when I skipped dinners often. I noticed if I take a couple small shots of vodka, i dont want to eat much of anything. Is this a bad idea just until i do lose some weight?
I maintain the same weight now but want to lose some, then maintain that. I would mostly do this before going out to eat, which is when i feel like eating all the dinner i ordered, and I only want to feel like having half I know alcohol has calories, but Id think it wouldnt have near as much as eating a whole dinner out |

eh, that doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. maybe on a weekend if you know you're going to want to eat a lot at a restaurant you could do that. but don't do it a lot. i wouldn't do it at all, but if you're going to do it and it really works for you, don't do it often. drink a couple glasses of water, that'll help and it's actually a heathy thing to do.

I understand what you're saying, but it's not a smart way of dieting. Skipping meals is bad for your body, and actually makes your metabolism slower. Here's a trick for eating out: when you order your meal, tell the waiter to only bring out half of it, and wrap up the rest to go. That way, you'll only have half of the food in front of you and you won't be tempted to eat the rest!

instead of skipping dinner, skip lunch, have a peice of fruit or something. There is such a huge amount of time in between dinner and breakfast, that when you do wake up in the morning and eat, you are more likely to eat 10 times more than what you should be eating. alcohol also gives you a nice "bloaty" look. just some advice.
