as the name brand medicines??? because i have daytime cold/flu medicine with the same active ingredients as regular dayquil but its walgreens version i haven't taken it yet do you think its just as good as the name brand kind?

It's exactly the same medicine. The law allows manufacturers to stop others from copying their medications for a short time, and then other companies are allowed to make copycat medications. Generic and store brand medication is exactly the same as the name brand, as long as the milligrams match. A friend of mine is a Head Pharmacist at CVS, and i've asked the same question.
