... The Zimbabwean government is weakening efforts to curb the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the country, according to a report released Friday by Human Rights Watch, SAPA/Business Day reports. According to Joe Amon, director of HRW's HIV/AIDS program, up to 1.6 million HIV-positive people live in Zimbabwe and about 25,000 of the 350,000 people in immediate need of antiretroviral drugs have access to them.
