... The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revised the label warnings on the antibiotic Ketek, to improve safe use by patients. Ketek is the brand name of Telithromycin and is manufactured by Sanofi-Aventis.The FDA has removed approval of the drug for treatment of acute bacterial infections associated with sinusitis and chronic bronchitis.
