Thrush (also called monilia or candida) is a vagonal infection. The organism is a yeast which is commonly found in the body without causing any problems. At times a woman may notice symptoms, particularly during pregnancy, or when she is on antibiotics or some other medication. Reoccuring thrus sometimes is an indicator of diabetes or some other ilnesses. Symptoms include itchiness, burning, soreness, a cheesy white discharge, discomfort during intercourse and pain when urinating.

The marigolds, genus Calendula L., are a genus of about 20 species of annual or perennial herbaceous plants in the daisy family Asteraceae, native to the Mediterranean region and Macaronesia.
