Imiglucerase is a recombinant DNA produced analogue of human β-glucocerebrosidase. Cerezyme® is a freeze dried medicine containing imiglucerase, manufactured by Genzyme Corporation. It is given intravenously after reconstitution as a treatment for Type 1 Gaucher's disease.
